Paloma F. Rua-Figueroa

BA Interior Design/ MArch Architecture - Designer

Paloma studied Interior Design at Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. She worked two years in New York as an interior designer and then moved to London to begin a career in Architecture.

She studied at Westminster University and graduated from The Bartlett School of Architecture under the supervision of Niall McLaughlin and Yeoryia Manopolou where she developed an interest in the tactility of materials and qualities of light.

After graduating she co-founded FACtotum where she gained experience in the residential¬†sector and her work was featured in Elle Decoration magazine and was shortlisted for the NLA’s Don’t Move Improve Award.

Paloma has a particular interest in how things are made, and believes that the detail informs the design of the project as a whole. Her work brings craftsmanship, skill and knowledge together to create crafted and inspiring spaces.
