The property and its potential
The existing property is 1970s build 4 storey building (including Ground floor) comprising of 6 flats above a car repair shop. Our clients wished to demolish the existing building and replace it with a new build residential scheme of luxury flats overlooking the lovely farm across the road.
The corner site bridges between a quiet residential road and a small cottage on Regents Park road, imposing strict right of light, outlook and overlooking restrictions. Further planning restrictions were imposed due to the site facing a very important conservation area.
Our team held extensive negotiations with the Barnet planners to reach and secure an agreeable scheme, maximising the development potential of the site while minimising impact on neighbouring properties. The project is currently in last stages of preparation for construction, and due commence on site the first quarter of 2017.
